You’ll love the playability of the M line of Sire basses! This modern 5-string bass features a Mahogany body for warm, clear, full-bodied sound. The signature neck profile of Canadian Hard Maple, rolled fretboard edges and a Maple fingerboard deliver a premium look and feel.

The Marcus Miller-preferred hardware and electronics of the Sire M2 are specially set for contemporary players. A Marcus Miller Heritage-3 preamp allows for complete tonal control from the active or passive modes. When combined with dual Marcus Blue Humbucker pickups supported by the Marcus Miller Standard Bridge, this bass offers huge tones suitable for playing heavier styles.

The M2 has been charged with a modern setup from neck and body to electronics and hardware, allowing players to go all the way with the entry-level M model.
